Thought i should post some photo’s of recent outings to Black law Windfarm and the Forth Bridges.

Windfarms are popping up everywhere and like it or not we’re stuck with them interrupting the natural skyline, so why not embrace them and get up close and see what they are all about.

I recently visited the Black law Windfarm site near Forth, The 42-turbine Black Law Wind Farm has a total capacity of 97 megawatts (MW), sufficient to meet the average electricity needs of 70,000 homes each year – or a town the size of Paisley – and is estimated to save around 200,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions a year.

on another outing I headed back to the Forth Bridges but this time to photograph from the North Queensferry side of the water, I know the forth bridges have been photographed to death but they are amazing structures and this time I’ve captured a view point that is not your normal bridges shot.
